ABOUT

Born in Sorrento and raised in Livorno, actually I live in Ibiza, sharing home, study and work with my cats.

Graduated in 2001 in Fashion Design at Polimoda, I began my working experience in fashion multinationals moving between Paris, Istanbul and Florence, before arriving at only 24 years old at my first entrepreneurial project “Open“, a concept store dedicated to research of emerging brands. In over 15 years of working experience I’ve followed my passion for the world of fashion and communication at 360°, organizing events and exhibitions, opening the first temporary stores and participating in markets dedicated to design.

I’m the artistic director and founder of Morgatta Collection, my creative project about slow fashion and writing art, upcycling and sustainability. Alternative, ethical and sustainable fashion are my objects of study and work, around which one I follow and develop creative projects, courses and workshops of various kinds. Also consultant for sustainable start up or company, in 2020 I founded, together with two partners, Sfashion-net, a network dedicated to fashion micro-enterprises and independent brands with a slow + sartorial + sustainable + social + soul imprint. In April 2021 we founded W(e)ave Magazine, the first Italian magazine entirely dedicated to slow culture.

Since 2010 I’m regular Visual Merchandising lecture at Polimoda in Florence, Collection Design and Trend Forecasting at Marangoni in Florence (2016) and Window Display Design, Social Media for Fashion, Computer Graphic for Fashion at the GSC in Amman (Jordan, from 2012) . I’ve published two books on the art of seduction “La bruttina che conquista“, 2012 and “Come tenersi un uomo dopo averlo conquistato“, 2013, an essay on the other side of fashion, “Sfashion” (Morellini, 2016), the guide “Firenze al Femminile” (Morellini, 2017), “Ibiza Low Cost” (Morellini, 2018) and "Re-Think Fashion" (Self Published, 2022). My next book "Abiti Ribelli" is coming out September 2026 (Morellini).

In my blog “I hate bananas” I mainly talk about sustainable fashion, the feminine universe and contemporaneity, while in my newsletter "Sfashionaries" I talk bold about (s)fashion world. Since 2013 I’ve been broadcasting live national radio tips on the frequencies of M2O radio (Gruppo L’Espresso) and Radio Capital.
